Stage Your Own Soul Sunrise

What if you could stage your own soul sunrise?

Stay with me, here. I’m serious.

And if it sounds revolutionary, you might be surprised and delighted at how simple it can be.

Soul connection is often a missing puzzle piece in the cross section of smart, talented women I work with.

I help them focus on what it means to be in alignment with your soul--connecting to a part of you that often gets ignored.

Because it’s really about tapping into what your soul craves, in very small ways.

What speaks to you?

Movement?
Poetry?
Beauty?
Music?
Color?
Touch?

***********
Could it make you more present in other parts of your life? (Yes!)
Could it help you cultivate your own personal positive vibe? (Yes!)

Here are some simple ideas:

Color****Cut and arrange flowers in a vase!
You’re creating beauty and the bonus is that you feel the petals on your fingers, smell the aroma of the peonies and take in all the colors.

Water******Stand by a fountain, a river, or listen to the rain.
Delight in the sound, consider how much water provides life and watch the water trickle. You’re awakening your own ability to notice, feel and experience the world.

Awe******Watch the clouds.
Taking in something so big and so far away--something you’re not in control of, offers perspective as well as let’s your eyes trace something besides a cursor.

Movement*****Swing on a swing.
Experience the lightness and repeatable sway and rhythm of your body in the air. Feel the novelty of an ungrounded, non-sturdy experience.

Touch******Fill a birdfeeder.
Delight in the methodical nature of feeling the seeds, making them accessible to the birds and realize how you’re nurturing another living being.

Visual******Walk through an art museum.
Simple observation can be so full of ease. When you’re simply looking and absorbing, pressure goes away and liberation sets in.

Intellectual******Visit Little Free Libraries.

What if you could feed your own soul?

Here’s what tends to happen.

You:

--Reset the chemistry of your brain
--Give yourself permission to rest and revel
--Create space and loosen the compression
--Fill your soul
--Get refueled and revived
--Become more present for your family
--Feel more intentional about your next move
--Tap into the creative side of your brain

And just like that, you staged your own soul’s sunrise…..

And you can do it every day.

I do.

We all need to work at inspiring ourselves every day.

How will you stage your soul’s sunrise tomorrow?
